GUIDES & ANSWERS

Inviting and managing users

Invite your synced Jobber team and manage Admin or User access.

Invite a colleague

  1. As an Admin, open Settings → User management. Locate the synced Jobber team member.
  2. Choose Invite. The message goes to their usable Jobber email address; this is not a freeform invitation to any address. If needed, correct the email in Jobber and Refresh.
  3. The recipient opens the link, enters Password and Confirm password, then completes account setup. On the confirmation screen, choose Go to login and sign in with the new password.

Resend, recover and remove access

  1. Use Resend invitation for pending or expired invitations. Invitation/verification links expire after 24 hours.
  2. Use Send password link for an active application account, or use Forgot password on the sign-in screen. Password-reset links expire after 30 minutes.
  3. Remove access requires confirmation and revokes sessions and pending links. It does not delete or change the Jobber team member. You cannot remove your own access.

Admin and User roles

The company creator is an Admin; invited accounts start as Users. Admins manage configuration, Jobber connection and application access. Users can use the dashboard, My account and Log out.

Use Make Admin or Revoke Admin in Application users. At least one active verified Admin must remain. An Admin may revoke their own Admin role only when another active verified Admin remains.

Removing and later reinviting a user does not restore their previous Admin role. Application access remains separate from capacity classification.
