Identify waitlisted jobs

1. Open Settings → Waitlist Configuration. Under How do you identify waitlisted jobs?, choose Waitlist staffing markers or Job custom field (Yes/No).
2. Marker mode uses presence of an assigned Waitlist requirement marker, even when its target is zero. Yes/No mode uses the selected Job-level boolean field instead of marker presence.
3. For Yes/No mode select Waitlisted field. True means waitlisted; false means committed. Missing or invalid values leave status unknown rather than silently committed.

Set the waitlisted capacity source

1. Under How do you determine required capacity for waitlisted jobs?, choose Use Required Capacity configuration or Waitlist staffing markers. Save changes.
2. Use Required Capacity configuration follows your marker/numeric choice from Required Capacity. Waitlist staffing markers reads the waitlist target regardless of the identification choice.
3. These are independent settings: a Yes/No field can identify waitlisted work while a marker supplies its target. A marker can identify it while a numeric job field supplies the target.
