Classify your team
Open Settings → Capacity definitions. Select a member, choose Capacity classification, review Required marker total and Assigned contribution, then Save changes. Names do not automatically determine their meaning. Enable Unclassified only to hide configured members; it combines with search. Members leave the filtered list after a successful classification save.
| Classification | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Field worker | Real worker; default assigned contribution 1. Active eligible workers form Total Workforce. |
| Office staff | Not part of the field workforce; default assigned contribution 0. |
| Reserved requirement | Marker carrying total required demand; default assigned contribution 0. |
| Waitlist requirement | Marker carrying total waitlist demand and, in marker identification mode, waitlisted status; default contribution 0. |
| Informational marker | Organizational/status entry; does not itself supply requirement-marker demand; default contribution 0. |
| Unclassified | Meaning and default contribution unknown; review before relying on totals. |
Requested target versus assigned contribution
A marker target is the total requested headcount, not extra people beyond the assigned crew. Multiple markers of the same kind add their targets.
Assigned contribution is separately configurable per member. Explicit zero contributes nothing; blank means unknown. A marker can have contribution 0 while its demand target remains 5.
Optional status labels
Visit label can add Cancelled marker or Subcontractor when that member is assigned. This is separate from capacity classification.
These labels do not cancel or edit a Jobber visit. Use Informational marker with zero contribution for a status-only record where appropriate. Unknown or unavailable assigned members remain warning conditions.
